Obesity in the UK has reached alarming numbers. 1 in 5 men and quarter of all women are obese and 30,000 people die prematurely every year. Those are staggering dieting statistics.
The NHS spends approximately £1m on slimming pills a year and doctors write over 3,200 prescriptions a day for such weight loss slimming pills. They are trying desperately hard to sort out the problem of obesity in the UK.
Experts believe that obesity causes more ill health than even smoking.
Obesity also causes many other problems such as health diseases, diabetes, arthritis, indigestion, high blood pressure and even some cancers. We all know that diabetes and obesity are very closely linked and this is another reason why diabetes is also on the rise.
It seems to be that the reason we are entering an obesity epidemic is the lack of exercise we take. For instance, in the 1950′s, according to a recent study, women ate more calories than they do today, but their lifestyle was much more active, their daily lives involved more exercise.
Is there obesity help for those that want it?
The answer to that is yes. Experts recommend simple and easy exercises taken daily for about 20-30 minutes. Weight management clinics are also available for those that can’t shift that stubborn weight. Slimming pills are also available, over the counter or on prescription, for example fat binders and appetite suppressants, both prescribed by doctors.
Surgery is another option, however this should be looked into very carefully.
There is help available, you just need to take some time to find out what is best suited to you.

Now that’s an interesting question and one that could provoke all sorts of answers.
Everyone on the internet is trying to sell something (apart from the sites that are information sites that are not for profit), so you have to question how reliable and honest is each site.
Weight loss tablets are big business, with more and more coming onto the market and more being sold OTC (over the counter). Therefore it goes without saying that there are thousands of diet pill review sites out there.
Unfortunately for you there is no quick answer, but I would suggest that you first of all look closely at those weight loss tablets that are natural. That would be a good starting point because when you go on a weight loss program, you want to be sure that you are taking weight loss tablets that are safe and have not been chemically altered. Generally speaking, you should see this on the home page of a diet pill review site.
Then you want to check if your chosen weight loss tablets have a money back guarantee with them. If not, your weight loss tablet is probably not a very reliable weight loss pill, or doesn’t work.
After that, you want to check if the site has testimonials, and proper testimonials, maybe in the form of videos.
Finally you want to check that the review site links you to the official weight loss tablet site so you can purchase your diet pills from there. That way you can go back to the company if you need to.
I hope this is helpful, and if you have any other ideas, please feel free to let me know.

Sleep, do you just love the thought of it? I do, I love my bed!
A US study has recently shown that those who sleep the longest are slimmer than those who “short sleep”. Obesity fact. There was also some research done previously that said you are 75% more likely to be obese if you have had less than 7-9 hours sleep. Wow!
The reason why they say that lack of sleep may be one cause for obesity is that hormone levels are affected when you get less sleep, it’s disrupting the normal hormone balance. By this I mean that the satiety hormone, the one that makes you hungry, called leptin, is reduced. Therefore you obviously feel more hungry, and in consequence put on more weight.
There are obesity facts and articles written all the time because it is now such a huge problem and it’s time we really started doing something serious about it. Make sure you are getting at least 7-9 hours sleep. It will make you feel better too.
